Lontrel question

I went to a pesticide class today and learned about Lontrel. I'd never heard of it up to this point. The instructor said that the rate is only a few drops per gallon. Is this true? Also what is the price?

Lontrel is great stuff! I use it for thistle control in juniper beds. It basically is a formulation of Confront. I use it @ 1/4 oz per 2 gal water. It's about $170.00 per quart but well worth it.

It is a great product for "over the top" applications. As it is a selective herbicide, it won't harm most ornamentals. I use it for broadleaf control in beds. I apply at 1/4-1/2 oz. per gallon. At that rate it goes a long way.
