The manual only says to use 10w30, but I am wondering if anyone has any specific oil they use or recommend.

In my 4-stroke mowers I use
Pennzoil 10w30 sold at wal-mart.

Plain oil or the synthetic stuff?
My dealer said to use plain but I use synthetic because of the added performance.

Well I know they have a few kinds of synthetic stuff, what one specifically? The fancy Ultra stuff?

I recently started using G oil. Its a bio-synthetic oil that's environmentally friendly and so far I've had good results from it. I even use the two cycle stuff in my blower and trimmer.

I use mobil one in my Kohler Command. When I change the oil I put the used oil in my walkbehind, no joke.
