exmark maint and hour meter

I have an exmark metro 48 going to try and change wheel drive belts any tips..
also considering putting a tach/hour meter on.. tiny tach.. it is a twin cyl engine will tach still be accurate only wrapped aroud one plug? or will i have to double it?

it will work fine wrapped around one plug.. just release the springs that hold the tension down on the belts. take the side cover plates off. pop it off. put new one on. should take bout 7 minutes.
