Not bad. Everyone is bumping things up to grab their market share.

i've always thought warranties were worthless. they only offer them because they know it will not break during that time period. i guess you will get the occasional lemon here or there but you know what i mean. i'm sure my ztrak will last 10 years since i'm solo. in 3 years i won't even get close to 1500 hrs. i will probably be between 500-750hrs in 3 years which is half of 1500.

it's like my truck. it has like a 40,000 mile warranty. it's rediculous. my last toyota lasted over 300,000 miles with no issues. warranty means nothing to me.

Well, I'm glad I had one when they had to replace my engine. That was well over a third of what the machine cost new. Most of the time you don't need one, but when you do, you really do more times than not. Especially with all the expensive parts in a ZTR.

 yeah i guess. you must've got one of the lemons. :D i guess what i mean is as long as it has a 1 year warranty then that's all you really need. just something to cover any chance of having a lemon. if it will last a year without problems then it will probably last 5 years without problems most of the time.

This is a good thing, and a trend I can see improving.

Hydro's and engines are expensive!

I agree, that usually true. Just look how many guys say they had a major breakdown 2 weeks out of warranty. LOL

hustler has like 3000hr warranty on their hydros so basically they will never go bad. your engine will go bad before 3000hrs. i guess some guys replace engines but i would just buy a new mower by that time.
