Pic whores! Hahaha. I picked her up an hour ago and had to get one of the kids to the orthodontist, so didn't take pics yet. I will snap some pics of my rig and the new addition to the family asap.
I can say that this 2012 lazer z is a beast and i cant wait to sling some grass!

:clapping:

I had a chance to get the new mower out this morning and snap a few pics of it. I mowed my yard with it and it is A+. It has met my every criteria thus far. It is comfortable, tight, handles great, good power with the kawa 651, manueuverable (why I went 48"). I am looking forward to putting it to work. A little about me: I do this part time about 2 or 3 days per week and have a mix of residential and commercial clients that make up about 14 accounts. I plan to build this business to fulltime and bring my two sons into it when they are older (currently 5 and 9 yrs old). I love doing this work. Enough talk, here are the pics! Yes that is a homemade trimmer spool rack I made with a pipe nipple and 2 floor flanges! I love building stuff.

That backpack rack is made by trimmer trap and i picked it up last year at the exmark dealer. I need to get the trimmer trap rack for trimmers and edger and get rid of the cheapo one I've got now. It gets the job done.

Very nice new machine and cool set up. Is that a 14' trailer? Looks good. Does the ROPS clear when you back in the garage? Congrats. You guys are lucky to see green in the lawn already. Mine was brown but today it decided to snow for the about the second time all winter and its gonna give us 8" of frozen water.

Its a 16' and i just lifted the rops for pics, it doesn't clear garage. We never had a winter this year and all guys are blowing and going around here already. Unfortunately my Bermuda didn't get my full attention and its in bad shape with weeds. My neighbors Bermuda is beautiful and is still dormant.

Got one just like it. You will soon find out to remove the side deck lift spring as the deck bounces up when you get on larger properties and faster speeds. I love mine though. Much better than my lazer z hp.

What do you mean about removing the spring? What affect does that have?

On mine if u mow to fast on larger properties the spring had so much tension it would keep bouncing the deck up and down while mowing! Just go and lower ur deck and drive around ur yard and you'll se what i mean.

Well i se they redid the parking brake vs my 2009 so maybe they put a weaker spring for the deck lift also and you won't have that problem. Anyways let me know.

I see what you mean. I mowed my largest commercial property this morning. It is about 4 acres, Very bumpy, Very wet conditions today. The deck didn't bounce around anymore than I would expect, given the speed and bumpy terrain. This place is flat but is like a freakin washboard! Beat me to death!, but I got it done...haha. The parking brake on the '12 is a different, straight flat bar handle. It doesn't have the top push button anymore. I'm not sure if this affected the spring issue you are talking about. If it bounced up on me while mowing smooth surfacr, I would NOT be happy.

I was talking about the long black spring on the left hand side of the mower, maybe i mow to fast but until i removed it the deck would bounce up and down. I also seen alot of other people remove them also, but maybe they used a different spring on the 2012's and you don't have anything to wory about.

Thanks, priced a x Series 52in with 27 kohler for 9900 otd. Was wondering what the price difference would be. 1400 sounds a little bit high for the difference in the mowers.

Not really.. you get more horsepower bigger hyro pumps/ wheel motors and it should have the iso kit on the seat. All that is money well spent..

I was thinking that the 2011 and the 2012 were the same mower, or did they change a few little things, if so what?
