The transmission is moving side to side on drive shaft and when it does this I lose power to wheels. I can move the trans just a little to get it to lock in and get power back to wheels but it moves right back over and loses power. I have taken apart and reassembled and all appears to be good internally. My question is, if anybody has experience with this, is what keeps the shaft secured into the transmission? Where the two separate shafts come together to drive the wheels, I cant get that to stay tight and provide continuous power to wheels. I've looked at parts diagram but am not seeing that i am missing any parts. Any help would be appreciated.

When you had the transmission torn, did the gear sleeve turn freely on the drive shaft? About the only thing that will permit the transmission to slide from side to side is a broken drive pin(35) that secures the gear sleeve to the drive shaft.

Thanks for reply, the gears did not turn freely on drive shaft. When transmission is together though I can pull the drive shaft from transmission. Not sure if that is normal or not though
