Do you know the total hours on it ?

Yeah, agree with Lawnman. Total hours on it. PTO needing replaced? hmmm. Ignition module too. hmmm. Need total hours to really say whether it's worth it. For 3k. Only if the THN was low (Total Hours since New)

i think it not too bad. it is sad though. it seems you can get a better price when selling a 36'' mower then when selling a 60''. last two ztr iv sold i got $2400 and $2700. its hard to get alot of $ for them.

Looks like you could have north of $3500 in it pretty quick. I say no.

If you know how to properly inspect a machine this would be a great deal. Not much of the major parts haven't been replaced.

Mower has 1300hrs the guy bought it for a 6acre property. He went through and replaced everything that could give you problems wither it needed it or not so he wouldn't have to worry about it. Used it last year then the property was sold and he has no use for the mower now. What would u guys think a fair price would be?

She looks mighty beat.

3 grand looks a little high for it. Why would it need a new deck on it? Is the old one broke? I just can't see any reason or purpose.

Pluses are it was homeowner owned and used. Most well used Scag's are much lighter in color from sun bleaching and the stripes are long gone. The early deck designs were fine. Retrofitting deck designs is usually not possible or cost practical. I could flip it for an easy thousand profit around here in a few more weeks.:usflag:

for what it is and being my first z-turn its not bad but only if i can get it for around 2000. on the other had theres a cub cadet z-wing with 700hrs for same price im not a fan of cubs but having one mower that can do 2 mowers jobs would be cool. and then a 2008 gravely 148 with 1122hrs and 26hrs on a new 21hp engine in the fall new blades and belts for 4000. whats your thought on these mowers
