I'm also ready for spring! High 40s and low 50s this week. That will melt all the snow for sure. I hope I can start the first week of April of the last week in March.

I drove my mower down the street to the gas station to fill it up with air and boy I miss riding it! I got a few odd looks though lol.

Don't expect to be mowing that early, nor doing apps. If you get started by mid-April that would be considered VERY early for SE MN - even later where you are at.

Im ready. I do have some work now though. One of my clients is having me prune his small apple orchard before the trees start budding.

In 2010 it was 85 degrees on April 1st and the season was started very early to say the least.

I don't mind them actually. If you do a good fall clean up the the spring clean ups should be easier.... In theory anyway. I usually bank doing clean ups the whole month of April so I can wait!

We had some snow this season, but not enough to make bank. Most of my customers also can't wait for spring. Yesterday it was in the 70's and today the 30's with light snow tonight. (I would rather it snow at least 4" or not at all!) Come on spring.

Getting ready this week will have one of my employees in starting tomorrow. On Sunday I am rewiring one of my 3 trailers and I am rewiring one the following Sunday as well. Changing over to leds and working out all the kinks in them for this coming season. As for start time I will be doing my first spring clean ups Monday the 12th should have 6k worth done by Friday. Its looking like an early spring in every regard I expect to be mowing 2-3 weeks sooner then 2011. Which is always a good thing and we have a new truck due sometime in April so the more cash we have the better.

I have been doing work on and off the past few weeks. I am starting full throttle tomorrow and have a few large jobs lined up then doing spring cleanups soon. I gave up on this winter a few weeks ago and treating it like it's Spring.

All of my pre-ems are down and I started cutting some last week. I'll be going at it weekly by April 1.
