so we're supposed to look at one picture and spit out a dollar amount?

Without knowing if the brakes work. without knowing if the wheel bearings are any good. Without knowing in the thing has any cracked welds. Or cracked steel.

With all that said, based on what I know - it's worth scrap metal value. Last I knew scrap steel was 11 cents per pound.

to me it would be worth nothing, as its too small for my needs. dang dvs atleast our scrap prices are .70cents a pound lol

reason i said ball park. It is not my trailer, a gentlemen is looking to trade it for a 4x4 quad I have and I'm not too familiar with used dump trailer pricing reason being why I asked for a realistic ball park figure to see if we were in the same price range. He's asking 5k

So it has 4k axles? Don't see that all the time, why don't you have a look at others in the surrounding area of similar condition and get a feel for the price. Mine is similar but it was new and is a 12k capacity. I'd say a little under 4...

I have the same trailer its 12' 12,000 lbs
the trailer pulls good and will lift a full bed of 3/4 stone .
I think you could get a new one for 5000+ dollars
The tires are junk if they are original rubber .
I payed 2500 bucks in 06 when it was only a year old .
I got a deal on mine but i think 3000 would be a fair price if all it needed is tires. John

I'd get the make and model info so you can look up the new cost. It looks pretty clean so a good price would be no more then 70 - 75% of the new cost.

i got some details on the trailer finally from the gentlemen. Its made by quality steel in Indiana, a local dealer in town sells them and you can drive there to pick them up if you want. They are selling them for 5k plus tax.

It is a 12,000 pound gvwr. twin axle. 2009 trailer he wants to trade. My quad is worth no less than 4k. What should i look for on a used trailer?

Is this trailer worth 4k?

What kind of atv do you have?

Look to ensure all the lights are in working order, that the brakes are in working order also. Make sure the battery in the dump doesn't die out as you're lifting the dump. The treads on the tires should be worn evenly also, and have sufficient life left. 4k is worth it if it's in over all good shape.

I got the same trailer. Its a quality steel 12k dump trailer. I paid $4200 last year for it brand new. As for used value I got no clue. I can say I've seen them on craigs list for more than what I paid for new and in need of brakes, major welding. etc.... Sad part is people pay it cause they think they got a deal.
