Debating on the two....as I haven't used many walk-behinds. You guys would have a better idea and think of things/problems I may not be considering with both of them. Either way, it will be a 36" for lawns my 61" encounters problems with.
Both are great machines. Im getting older and my wrists cant handle the pistol grips much longer which I run now and have for 15 years. I tried a pro-v a couple weeks ago at my dealer and was impressed.

The reason I started questioning this, was really because of hand/arm fatigue with the grips, compared to the pro-v system for moving and turning. As well as I've seen one tall guy selling his pro-v with velky because he said he had to bend forward a little bit. I'm 6'4" myself and don't want to run into this problem....I think it may be because the column on the pro-v is more straight up then leaning back, making you further away...I don't know, it's just an educated guess.

You can get the longer arm Velke the standard is 15" the longer is 18" and will put the controls in a better spot.

I own both and really like the pro v because of carpel tunnel

I've got some really steep hills that I use the walk behind on , I'm not sure the pro v would work in those situations

I demoed a Pro-v for a week and wasn't impressed. It was difficult to control on hills and load in my box truck. I have never used a pistol grip so I really can't compare. We run Scag turf tigers and love them. I would buy Scag walk behinds if they had the V-ride controls.
