Lately I've been contacted by several Property Preservationon Company's wanting to know if I'd be interested in mowing and up keeping their bankruptcy properties. You guys know the routine, they send send you a ton of properties to take care of and you have to take pics before/during/after your service. Are these worth it? Picking up another 25-40 yards or more would be nice but from what I've researched you don't get paid for them until like 30-45 days later? Also if these are repos I wondering how bad or how far gone the lawns are and if it's worth putting my equipment on it? Any insight or comments from folks that have done these is appreciated! Thxs

All I can say is stay away. The property companys are a huge pain to deal with. Lots and lots of pictures. Getting paid takes an act of god. They are also real good at sending 5 guys out to service the same property. And the yards you go to service are a mess. Expect the lawn to be atleast a 1' tall and junk everywhere. Oh and the pay rate they want to pay you is a joke. They go off the HUD price list. 10k sq yard with 1' grass only pays $25-30 here.

Some pay ok and but most do not, Like someone else said lots of pictures and then you have to email or use your phone for them. That being said we will do a few a year but not many.

I just got an email from a company I did work for years ago. They now want atleast 40 pictures of each property emailed directly from the property. Oh and you need to buy some $500 computer program. Haha.... NO
