Hey Guys,
Looking for opinions, and some facts.

What is the largest Gooseneck dump trailer you would purchase if you intended on towing it with a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Classic 6.6 Diesel beefed up suspension including torq bars for the rear end and performance mods under the hood.:weightlifter::weightlifter:

Im considering a 16' 14k# goose dump... rarely would it be pushed to the max but i would like the insurance to know i could HAHAHA

Truck could easily tow that. Just make sure you stick with a goose neck.

I see that combination a lot with roofers around here no problem. Just remember that even though your suspension is beefed up and you have mods under the hood you still can't legally tow over your maximum weight given to your truck by the manufacturer.

I pull a loaded pintle hitch 14' 12,400 lb load trail dump trailer all the time, truck has no problem doing it. Using a 1997 f250 7.3 with a decent amount of modifications. Empty weight is something like 3500 lbs so I typically only get about 4 tons loaded into it

Glad DOT has better things to do down here. They don't bother the landscape or tree compamies. Usually go after the dump trucks on Govt. Contracts.
