Thinking of Renting an Aerator

Was thinking about renting an aerator for the day. It is $60 for the whole day and i do not believe there is any sort of hour limit. I am going to try and advertise the service for a little bit an hopefully will have like 5 lawns to do.

I have 2 questions. First, do you think the average customer know the benefits of aerating? Am i going to be wasting my time with this and not have any customers even be interested?

Second, what would be a good price for me to charge? I am hoping to make a nice profit by doing this.

Also just an FYI it is a plug aerator, a spike aerator is only $40 for the day.

You have to educate the customers. Most people NEVER think about doing it.

Spike Aerating it wasting peoples money. You need to plug.

Charge 2.5X your mowing rate.
