Anyone ever used this Deck Light Fixture from Beach side Lighting.

I have never used this but Beachside are known for quality products. It looks quite similar to many other fixtures in that category that can probably be procured more easily and cheaply.

I wonder why they have opted to use only two screws/bolts to secure the faceplate? Why not more to ensure a weatherproof seal, or like the Hunza, use a screw on bezel/lens that seals the fixture entirely.

Personally I would not choose their LED versions until you obtained much more technical information on their performance, paying a lot of attention to the critical measures of LED. Output (Lumens) , Efficacy (Lm/watt), L70 (as determined by LM80), CCT & Chromacity, CRI, and junction temperature.

I am still amazed at how many LED integrated fixtures are on the market that do not provide us with these metrics that are so necessary for us to make informed decisions. And the silly thing is, if the fixtures have been properly developed and tested, the manufacturers know all of these specifics from that process. So why not share them?

Thanks James ,

I will look into it more.

Been looking for a nice fixture that has a flush mount lens or no more than 1/4 in thickness so it wont be a toe catcher and the Client cannot make up his mind on what he really wants , you know how that goes I'm sure.

Most times I make all of the fixture choices for the client. It makes things much easier for everyone!

Check these out: https://store.illumicaregroup.com/Demeter_p_83.html
Flush mount, louvered, well sealed, approved for use with either 20W MR16 or LED MR16 lamps.

Or you could go really expensive and look at: http://www.hunza.co.nz/product-index/sllu.html

Not much difference.... except of course in the price!

I will look those Links over , Thanks Again.

We did the Electrical for his Pool 2 years ago and all the equipment is fully automated using Pentair Control Panel.

This past week we Installed 3 more Control Relays within the Control Panel and set up 4 GFCI protected circuits at the rear of the property in various locations for Lighting around Pool area – Deck Lighting – Landscape Lighting .

I have been working with the Client for over a month trying to nail down a design that we both are happy with.
