My dealer is trying to find a Snapper 23hp (Kohler), 52" Hydro, elec. start, W/B for me. He is sold out and Snapper doesn't offer it for 2003. He can sell me one for $3949. My only problem is that I can't try it out now. Should I go for it?
Thanks,
Joel B.

Just for comparison sake, a new 23hp (Kohler) 52" Exmark Turf Tracer hydro elec. start goes for $6199.

I really don't like the thought of buying before trying out but I can't pass up such a good deal, can I? Also, a new 17hp/52" manual start is $4299.
Seems almost to good to be true.......

What have you got to lose?
You could probably use it for a few days, and if you didn't like it, sell it for more than what you payed at that purchase price?
