Just bought an 2002 exmark lazer hp 52 in with a 23hp Kaw engine. The machine had 20 hours on it and i picked it up for $5250.00 (no tax). Was wondering if you guys think that was a good price. It's in terrific shape.Guy bought it and it was too big for the yard he had. Thanks for the feedback:blob4:

Sounds like a pretty good buy considering how it was used in those twenty hours without seeing it.
I think new ones are around 7500.00 off the top of my head.
I bought a new 48"with the 21 Kaw for around 6400.00 and I think I got a great deal on a brand new machine.
Change the oil and hydro,Remember Mobile One hydro fluid.
My next one will be a 52"

Good deal. No tax. What a bonus. I have a 5223 and like it very much. It was great for the leaf season.
Get the ultra vac for it if you can . It does a wonderfull job on both, grass and leaves.
The anti blow out baffle is another worthy investment for it.Its about forty bucks from your dealer.
With those extras you will still, be way ahead in the game.
Oh , and dont forget to strap a mojo to it for good luck. I put the barbie lawn queen model with the g-string on mine .
Congrats on your new purchase, and good luck.

According to my sources, you got a pretty good price for the LHP5223KA.
2002 Pricings says $8400 list price. $7500 suggested sale price. Pretty good deal if the 20 hours didn't take their toll.

Last year(oct 2201) the dealer here had a factory promo of the 52" and 23hp for 5900.00. I bought a 1999 last year with 230hrs for 4000.00 and I thought that was good
