But they sure are purtyin' up the town for the RNC. It would make more sense if we actually had a particular industry that dried up. Unlike Buffalo, Detroit and Pittsburgh that had steel, cars and wiper blades to blame thier downfalls on.:usflag:

You will see a rise again my friend, remember all the baby boomers will be retired and move to FL and with their population numbers FL will boom again one day, not actually producing anything.

Obama just said "the private sector is doing fine" so...

I agree with Landscape Poet. The appeal of Florida (no state income tax, beaches, climate) will continue to drive growth as the economy turns around. It's going to take a lot longer than most people think but it will return.
