Opinions please

Some of you may have already seen the post, I had it deleted because I couldn't edit it.

Anyways, this is my latest lighting project. He wants all the lighting redone on the deck, and possibly the front of the home.

He wants it mostly for entertainment purposes, some security in the front of the home. As you can see, I have alot of angles to work with.

Someone in the previous thread said to light up the planter boxes, I think that might be a great idea!

I've used kilcher led strips before, What do you guys prefer?

I will post tonight what i plan on using. I will probably use mostly unique lights, maybe some vista. I purchase from john deere landscapes, any better places?

I would start by insisting the step lighting and the Victorian light posts go. Looks as if there is quite a bit of areas to downlight from such as the soffits and the tree where those post lights are.

Wow that is an awesome setup. That just screams downlighting at me. Forget about lighting every tread and riser. Downlight it and be done.

Take a look at the Brilliance LED striplight. Here is the link: http://www.brillianceled.com/Binder_12.pdf

This can be directly wired into a landscape lighting system. The sleeve is 1/2" wide so you will need about a 3/4" or so lip on which to mount.

This product can be ordered through your JDL dealer.

.6watts per foot, great application for the short-distance stair tread applications. For seatwalls, 2ft high is about the limit for illumination on this product. It is a warm white, very even output, can be ordered by the foot up to 20ft lengths, and includes an internal driver with 4ft lead wire.

I am working on getting some photos of the product in action.
