Hiring a bed maintenance guy

Been talking with a guy who enjoys pruning and annual installation. There seems to be a need for someone to concentrate on beds and keeping them pruned and weed free. Most mowing companies here are mow blow go.

This guy has experience and possibly a pesticide license.

Any idea what you could bill per hour for a guy like this? I would need to add a truck for him but would go the s-10 route or something small.

Why wouldn't u do this?
If you are paying him 10-12/hr, I would bill out no less than $45/hr.
