Echo/Stihl Edger Question

Wondering if anybody has tried this, or knows if it will work. Will the new Echo bed edger blade (BRD-280) fit on a Stihl stick edger? I like the new Echo blade, but already have a Stihl Kombi with straight shaft edger. I'd like to just put on the Echo bed edging blade onto the Stihl, if it will fit. Anybody know?

No, the attachments are different. Echo is a plain square male female type thing, while Stihl has a couple of wire clips next to the square thing. They aren't compatible.

Echo, John Deere, Ryobi are compatible with each other usually.
