Help My feet are killing me

Yep a problem with us old cusz. I have tried all the rubber boots I could find locally. Only thing that ever worked was pull overs.

Any one know of a good spray boot???

Ric, i've worn many spray boots over the last 20 years. in my opinion, there is NO good boot.

i went to a foot specialist and he made a mold of my foot (i got fallen arches- flat feet) then he made an insert for the boot. it works out nicely.

but, i too, ussually wear a pull over rubber boot with the insert in my work shoe for maximum comfort.

lucky for me i'm in new england. i get to rest the old dawgs in the off season before the next season comes around.

Yep pull over is comfortable. However it they spring a leak you ruin your boots and you have to throw them away.

I guess the best answer is to buy cheap under boots. Change over boot regular just like gloves.

Just checked. I have 7 styles of spray boots, 11 styles of inserts and I'm still looking for something comfortable. While I lean toward the over boots, they are aquard in April and way too heavy by October. If I use the #2771 Ant mentioned, by the end of the day I'm looking for Windshield time instead of ground time. Surely someone, on this forum, knows of the "Rockeys" of spray boots.

Find a fire fighter supply and get the right size of shoe fit fireifghter rubber boots. there the most comfortable rubber boot you can find, if there is such a thing.

Maybe the problem is not in the boots??

Maybe the problem is in old feet??

Maybe we just need to hire on younger feet??

Hire on the youngster who has no foot pain, let them ruin their feet by wearing spray boots over the years the same way we did??

I have had similar problems getting a boot to fit comfortably so I've resorted to the simple slip on rubber boot over hte work shoes. However, Tingley makes a relatively flexible work boot that I could put my arch supports into that was quite comfortable and wearable all day. It was a relatively light boot, dark tan or biege in color, but a nylon weave made it durable.
