66 sat in my old mans field for 20 years l finally talked him into giving it to me .l put flat deck , shelfing, splashed some reduced tremclad on,pored some gas in carb and wala irrigation truck for under $500 ,it really is good billboard.

I always liked that color and style - the memory of driving them might be better as a memory (there is something to be said for power steering and power brakes)

I had a similar C-10, with manual steering and brakes, and a straight-six engine fitted to the fabulous Powerglide transmission - ahhh, memories

I don't have to go to the gym l get a workout driving it. Did you notice dw in the back ,I find the truck works good for small residencal and service jobs .

duckworth

Canadian no doubt, Lots of Mercury pickups. The glass/irrigation stuff is a new one.

Canadian no doubt, Lots of Mercury pickups. The glass/irrigation stuff is a new one.think of all the TV commercial possibilities, as an ad gets interrupted by the vibratory plow going through a plate glass window

It only has to shake the windows to lose the weather proofing properties of the seals.

It's on year 3 and owes me nothing.

Have you put in a 8 track? Pretty cool truck again. Nice to keep some of these oldies on the road. You can pick up a 65 mustang fairly cheap. Make a great car to put a complete advertising decal on.

Just letting customers know l can fix these products ,then try and convince them to up grade to hunter or R.B.l stock mostly hunter .if customer is dead set on a product l will try and help him. Can't stock everything

There is just something charming about that brief era of truck styling, like they want it to look like it has some forward lean.

So shouldnt you include weathermatic and hydro rain? Joking. I had the same idea in my earlier days when I wanted to start my business, makes good cents though.
