This is my second year doing Fertilizing/weed-control. I'm doing a 6 step program but i think next year I'm going to go to 7. Anyhow, last year for my June application i used a lesco product with electis. Somehow, this year instead of ordering the Electis (i don't know how to spell it) and applying it i put down just straight 28-0-3. I don't recall when i realized what i had done but now I'm left with two descision.

1. go buy product for all 50 properties and apply it and have to eat the cost of material and labor

2. increase lawn monitoring and treat post-emergently with dylox.

Conditions are dry here, but grass is still fairly green. Had a few inches of rain last week-Mid Ohio area.

Thoughts and council are appreciated. Thanks.:usflag:

Since it is still July--the timing is still Ok for grub control. Include it in your July treatment. If you have to do a few for free--do it--experience is a great teacher. But she is a mean beach.

Next year learn about insecticide before you begin your program.
