Not at all. I'm positive its rough bluegrass... Poe annual... its shallow rooted, grows in patches, light shade of green, pulls out in clumps, growing in very shady and always moist soil.....

Q: Certainty® was labeled for rough bluegrass control in Kentucky bluegrass and creeping bentgrass, what should I use now?

A: Velocity is the only other turf herbicide labeled for rough bluegrass control, but it is only labeled for sod and golf course use. Rough bluegrass control in residential and commercial lawns will now need to be controlled with non-selective applications of glyphosate.

U knew what I meant.lol but yes its rough bluegrass.... I'm still not sure what to use.... our local estees turf specialist said he's not even sure.... sounds like I should go ahead and oversees in fall and just spray a 3 way to kill it out post wise and try a pre in spring... or not oversees at all and.use a pre this fall.... its a very thick lawn... timing is everything if I wanna reseed and use a pre this fall...

3-way isn't going to kill grasses, hit it with gly and reseed this fall, pre next spring. Was at my sisters up north last week and she is having a similar problem with bent grass in her Kentucky blue lawn.
