footage around circle

I have a 24 foot circle that I need to install edging around.
I need to know how to figure the running feet around the
outside of the circle

Seems to me like hoy boy doesn't know how to reduce his fractions down properly. He'd have a helluva problem w/ trig, analytical geometry or calculus - lol.
BTW, did anyone notice that the thread was titled area of a circle piR*R - but then they asked for circumference?? 2piR or piD!

Hey, did you all hear about the little Indian boy that wanted a bride? He was going to buy two brides, but all he had to buy them was his pet hippopatamus(sp?).
