double edger blades

After reading about double mower blades I started thinking. What about using 2 blades on my walkbehind edger(Little Wonder). Has any one tryed this?

Have used dbl. blades on stick edger many times for a couple of years. works great if you want a wider line. some people like that and some don't. I use a new blade and an old blade so you have differant cutting edges and works good. Wish they could make a blade that would last longer

Two blades on edger will make a wider cut, and result in more weed breakthrough along edges. Ever try the star blades? They come with 4 cutting edges and with 8. The 8's are expensive, but give a really nice edge quickly.

My idea was old saw blades. Never tried it, but I'm curious to know. One of these days I guess!
