This is an almost new JRCO front mount aerator for a zero turn lawn mower. I bought this new in the fall of 2010 from Minnesota Maintenance Equipment here in Shakopee and only used it a hand full of times since then. It is in great used, almost brand new condition. It does have the electric lift on it and also it comes with the multi wiring harness, this is the one that allows you to run either the JRCO spreader and aerator at the same time, or one or the other alone.

Here is a clip and more information from JRCO's website:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJnirJmTxvo&feature=plcp

The front-mount aerator attaches to the JRCO mount bar with two clevis pins. An electric actuator lifts the heads for transport.

Hooking tines lift soft soil plugs.
Aerator heads caster allowing zero-turn maneuverability.
Electric actuator lifts aeration heads for transport.
Switch control for electric lift mounts on operator control arm for easy operation.
Hardened steel one-piece rotors assemblies and hardened axles for long life.
Aerator frame supported by castering wheels with heavy-duty yokes.
Independent rotor heads lift over rocks or roots while remaining heads continue aerating.
Aerator attaches to JRCO mount bar with 2 clevis pins.

No, I liked it, I just don't do a whole lot of aerating and more so I have no need for two of these.

Wow this is tempting I have the mount bar installed on my Toro Z.
Do you have any pics of the types of plugs it pulls?

No, I never took any pictures of the plugs. Might be able to find some pictures online or on here maybe.

Rainy morning bump!!

Finally!! Been since august since we had more than a couple of tenths at a time. I would be all over this if it were earlier in the season. It's late for me, plus Tru green went door to door in august and suckered a lot of people into aerating dry hard dirt.

Tru Green and a lot of other companies are really good at getting customers to buy a package to have their lawns aerated and over-seeding when we hadn't had rain in months.. seems like a great situation to pull deep plugs and get that grass seed to grow.

I've been thinking of buying one of these to go on my gravely z-turn but i worry that it woudln't pull enough dirt up when the ground isn't very moist. I'm sure you can do a ton of ground with these.

I've never done much with these on hard ground as most of my properties are irrigated.

Yes those fools TG aerated in July and Aug this year when it was BONE DRY AND HOT. I got a few new customers this Oct that told me to re-aerate after rainfall cause the TG pass did no good at all. (sorry to hijak)

As you force this into the ground the front end of mower is raised correct? Are any of the b earings greasable?

They are all greaseable and I have never had the front end of the machine come up.
