Hey guys,
So like the title says I'm getting this chattering groaning sound coming from the rear end of my 2001 SCAB F-150. It happens in drive and reverse. Only when I'm at low speeds like below 10 mph, makes an unpleasant groaning kind of chatter then when I speed up it goes away. Can't hear it at all at cruising speeds. And I don't think I can hear it when I'm pulling the trailer, only when it's unloaded. Still, I'm a little concerned and it's mildly embarrassing at times. Will also make it more difficult to sell when I go to get rid of it. It's been doing this for a few months now.

Truck is 2WD, open differential (not LS) Super Cab. Poor thing has 188K on it but I'm trying to squeeze another year out of it without putting much cash into it. Only suspension work I've had done is ball joints and shocks so I'm sure it could be anything, but anyone think they know what it is? Should I be worried? I've gotten some good tips on here before. Thanks for any responses guys!
