Looks like they hit it out of the park for a residential/beginner commercial unit!!!!

Would love to see and hear what people think about it. I am DEFINATELY looking forward to seeing one in person at my local dealer. He said he should have his in March. This is tops on my list to buy above the BB, Scag, Kubota ZG100 etc. I don't think any of the others entry level units come close to this!

If anyone finds more info, pics, links to manuals, post them below and I will edit them to my original post.

Have not seen any pricing (accurate) but have heard it is in the $5-6k range.

That's a good looking machine. I'd choose that over the others too, especially after demo'ing the Gravely stander this summer.

Amen, I would hope SOMEONE out there had a demo unit they were playing with who could add more. Other than no canister filter, it looks like a beast!

Yup, thats Gravely's new entry level commercial mower. Should be another Gravely homerun but only in the $5-$6000 range. Looks to be very well designed and built.

saw these a couple of months ago at an Ag Expo. I think they hit a homerun too for entry level commercial machines. these machines fall in between the ZTHD line (top of the line consumer models ) and the Pro-Turn 100 series (the old entry level commercial units). They are also priced in between those two lines. The 100's will still be available and so will the ZTHD's. Notice the non-commercial engines that will come on these units. No dual stage filtration.

actually according to the gravely website. they are going to start at $6699 and go up from there. so 6699 gets you the 48 incher with the 23hp Kawi.

That sucks - looks like they raised the prices on all of them too....the 100 used to start at $7600.

For $6600 you are in Scag Tiger Cat territory...... :nono:

Very true. After a few good looks, I can see the value if it's in the 5k range. I don't like the narrow tires front and back. Makes for easy rutting. If only the manufacturers would go with a over sized wider tire all around, you'd be able to cut grass in a swamp, well, almost. :laugh:

Check with your dealer because they usually sell well below MSRP. Gravely cuts out the middle man and deals directly with its dealers. This gives dealers much more price flexability. MSRP is mostly used for fleet pricing when Gravely takes 20% off. I was specifically told $5000-$6000 for the entry level pro-turn.

Eh - I'm not sure. Tiger Cat 48 MSRP is $8299 from what I have seen. That leaves room for discount at the dealer. I've never paid MSRP - have you?

I agree on bigger tires, etc. But at some point, you have to make a difference between the units or every mower becomes the same thing! And they all would cost 12k!

I got my 61" tiger cat for 8200 out the door with 27hp and suspension seat.

Im not gonna downplay this NEW mower but I demoed a 60" last year and the deck is definetly not a velocity............. The deck on the scag alone is worth the extra.

The mower last year I demoed was more than my tiger cat and was not on its best day gonna be a scag tiger cat BUT BUT BUT Gravely on the other hand hit a home run with that air ride seat!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that thing I loved!!!!

I am very interested in possibly demoeing there new walk behind though. Looks like the controls are something I would get along with......
