Hello to all,

I have been wondering when is the best time to buy (best deal) a stander or zero turn. Like a scag v ride or cheetah. Is it January and February?

scag had a promo going earlier this year no payments till april and 0% for 48 months i took advantage of that

Sometimes dealers have older models or are trying to sell older stock that you might find a deal.

On the other hand almost all the companies are offering 0% financing now with no down payment until a certain date. Just ordered a new JD the other week, it should be in late Feb.

i took advantage of it for 4 months was just putting any extra cash i didnt need towards it and nows its paid off

Me too. I pulled the trigger on a new Super Z. Looked at many mowers they all had great finance rates. 0% is hard to beat.

McCoys will have a sale in early March and that is the best time to buy equipment and handhelds. It is a huge event with many vendors and free food across two days.

December is actually a good time to buy from a larger company because the salesman are usually trying to push hard on deals to pump up the end of the year sales.

If you buy in december it will give you a nice write off for tax purposes. I met with my CPA last week.
