My calls haven't stopped coming in yet:dizzy:

Leaves and storm clean ups have kept me at it so far. I've had enough jobs to work every day I've wanted to and some I didn't. I'm not predicting any complete down time betwen now and spring green up. I feel lucky for once!

I know im getting Spring fever. I havent gotten many calls yet. February is when i start to get a lot of calls. I did have a customer tell me while I was doing snow removal the other day, that she could not wait to here my mowers again, because that means winters over!

had a few last week for new maintenace...I advertise year round...as others said I think this spring will be very busy...

1.many fallclnups did not get done...wet/cold/snowy November/Dec.
2. pent up demand for landscaping after 2 years of drought and water restrictions
3.allot of storm/plant damage
4. after this winter people will likley have a serious case of spring fever
5. all of us baby boomers are one year older and might now want service

this year i'm going to try and push back whatever work I can to june/july in case we have another hot/dry summer. its hard to tell a client that bed work done later is not a bad thing...any of you have success in trying to move things back in the scheudle to keep the revenue stream going when the turf goes dormant...dont mean to take this off the theme of this post but its somewhat related in case we get swamped this spring

Phone started ringing this week. Got a couple jobs set up. Its been in 50s and even 60s. Temps have been running 10-20 degrees above average. I'd rather see some rain or snow right now.

Theres still 2' or so on the ground and when I was at the HomeCheapo one of their guys (who used to work for a local nursery) said they have been getting about 3-5 calls per day wanting to know if they do lawn care or landscaping work???

Sounds to me like theres a more than a few people out there who want to get their name onto the drawing board before the rush of spring fever hits -LOL!!!
