Anyone of yall engine gurus know any tips/tricks to help unsieze a diesel motor in a 94' isuzu NPR. A buddy who is a heavy equipment mechanic, said to mix a 5gal bucket of diesel/motor oil/ mystery marvel oil, and pour it into the top the engine and let it sit for a few days, drain and repeat.

Depends on what seized it. If it was just from sitting, maybe. If it was overheated or ran out of oil chances are dim. Marvel oil has freed some pretty bad cases in my time. Usually though they became oil burners after that. Pulling injectors is the only way to get the MM into the chambers though. Good luck but don't be disappointed. Try to bar it over instead of using the starter. That can snap it off and cause more grief.

I guess if you take off the oil pan and unbolt the rods you might get the motor to turn enough to unbolt the torque converter. Otherwise you may be able to pull the motor with the torque converter attached.

If its a Katrina victum the electronics will also be locked up.

It may also be as simple as correded battery cables.

Depend's on why it's locked up. Pouring something into the motor will not do anything for something damaged by heat or no oil. I use to do a lot on machine work on these engine's, it seems like they were bad about spinning rod bearing.

Is it hydrostatic lock from a cylinder full of fuel from a bad injector? Can you rotate the crank shaft in any direction?
