My seperate policy for plowing has doubled since last year. Whats going on?
Ours is up also. Most likely related to costs form bs law suits from the last two bad winters.

Contact njm insurance. I. Added my plow to my commercial auto and they consider it part of the truck. Damage done by the truck is covered. I dropped my general liability on the plowing.

It's not damage to or by the plow that's the problem. It's the liability if someone slips and falls. So in effect you have no insurance for the work you perform.

How big is your snow operations? Mine went up as well, but only because their minimum snow policy price increased. It sucks when I have never had any claims, but that's business. Nothing you can do, pass it on to the clients.
