Post of picture of the truck you like the most in your business. Biggest, baddest, just want to see what people have got.

Mine is a 2000 Chevy Silverado z71 4x4, borla dual exhaust, k&n cold air system, my first "true" truck I bought for myself/business.

Show everyone what you have.

Gotcha. How do you like that compared to having a smaller set up? What I mea is does having that big a of rig get in the way or cause problems for you ever?

for weekly mowing its a lil overkill, but it gets noticed since my truck and enclosed trailer are lettered up. two big rolling bill boards. thats why i got the isuzu, tossing around the idea of either putting an open landscape bed w/dovetail or and enclosed body w/dovetail and dedicate the isuzu to mowing and irrigation. i also still have my first trailer, its a 16' dual axles open trailer w/ landscape basket on front, side and rear gate.

Not for business but my 1955 F100. My Dad bought it when he turned 16 (in 1969) and drove it all though high school.
Next is my project truck 1953 F250. My plan's- 4BT Cummins, NV4500, not sure about the transfer case yet but it will have a twin stick conversion, Dana 60's front and rear with 4 wheel disc brake's. Small flat bed dump. This is my next company truck.

Not up there with the big boy trucks, but I do love this truck just the same, is still serving me very well. I'm gearing up a recent auction purchase for this season (1997 f350 reg cab 8 foot box 2 wheel drive 5.8L gas) as my towing truck.

Does that truck have a liftgate? I'd like to have a truck like that with a liftgate for a WB a few days a week.

I started off with a 78' ford f100, paid $600 for it. Thats what it took for me back then 87' to make it work. Today everyone wants the biggest and badest truck when all you really need is a basic truck. Its real easy to get outta hand with payments and insurance, when reality is, we need a work truck not a show piece.

Not a popular choice by any means. 98 K3500 6.5L Diesel 4x4 Mods: PMD relocation kit, Steel braid oil cooler lines, Transmission cooler, and bed liner on the bottom of the doors to protect from snow and salt.

Future plans: remove the bed and put on a flatbed with ramp and dovetail to use it for dedicated mowing crew, just have to think if I want to do a 9ft or 8ft.

umm stock steel with a beauty rings.

Its not a real popular truck, for the fact in the 6.5's time period the 7.3 powerstroke and the 5.9 cummins where alot more powerful engine choices. 6.5's didn't have a good dealer support or even trained mechanics to fix issues, people just got fustrated with them, and they have a weak crank in them. Also chevy's 350 or the 454 was the most popular choice in this body style.

That is true. My dad used to have a 1995 Chevy 3500 with the 6.5. It was in the shop multiple times. Everytime it was because of the same isssue. The dealerships had no clue what they were doing and it showed. It was a nice truck for sure though. He kept it for a few years after and then traded it for 1999 Ford F-250 7.3L:dancing:

Yeah thats an old lift gate I came across and put on last season. I ended up taking it off at the end of the season due to it just being worn out is all I can figure. It was great when it worked, but it seemed like it was broken more than it worked haha. But my biggest issue is there was an oil leak in it that I couldn't seem to find, it didn't matter what I did it wouldnt stop leaking, and I can't go leaking oil all over the customers property haha.

Skorum- I too started out with a 2000 Silverado 1500 z71 with the 5.3 and boy did we work the piss outta that thing! It was bone stock and it never once let us down. I retired it from the mowing a few years ago with 250,000K when we replaced it with a cabover. She still runs and drives like a dream!

Yeah they seem to be great trucks. I have just over 200,000 on mine right now and if it gets used as a work truck until it has 250,000 that would be great. But yeah very strong running truck and hopefully stays that way for a long time... knock on wood.
