With 3 men and 2 walk behinds 52"and 32" Exmark with sulky and 2 back pack blowers Echo and Echo trimers how many lawns can you realisticaly expect to get done in a day? All accounts are smaller than 1/2 acre and all are in the same neighborhood.

for a 3 man crew, we averaged around 25 a day that were spread out over the city

Where in Texas? Is everybody in shape?
I would expect no less than 20. 1/2 acre or less a three man crew should average at least three an hour if they are close together.

That sounds like a great setup equipment wise and all of the accounts in the same neighborhood. I would say 20-25 a relaxed pace and 25-30 at a fast pace.

8 hours, probably average 25 lawns.

colube,
Id say however many you think you could do by yourself with one 52" x 2.5. so if you could do 10 in an 8hr day figure the whole setup with three should be able to do 25 per 8hr day.
You should go cut Kingwood since conroe isnt that far, from what I remember growing up in Kingwood there wasnt to much in conroe.

Maybe 20-25 depending on drive time. 30+ if you switch to mid-mounts.

one guy hit it on the head. "are they in shape". this means alot. i have two helpers(part time) when im with the one guy, we can knock off 12-15 in 4-5 hrs. with the other guy, im lucky to get 8 or 9. half way through, hes sucking wind.

When i first started out 14yrs back, i could do 9 to 11 lawn solo with a 52 walk, id say you should be abel to knockout 25-30plus.....Marks Mowing Service

Wow. If you are not pruning any shrubs, but are just cutting, edging, weedeating, and blowing off. Then the number will be much higher than 25. If the lots are less than a half acre, about a quarter or larger, and they are all fairly close together then three guys should be able to do about 40. Now how did I base this simple. With a five man crew we could do 80 in 4.25 hours. That's edging every walk, drive and street curb in the subdivision. Blow off everything including the streets. Then go do a conco complex with six buildings and another with three.

Depends on how many shrubs, mulch beds, etc. Also depends on how much rain we've had. Right now you can't go over 3 MPH without tearing up turf because its so wet. On average I would say 15 to 20 would be good. Remember they don't really care about your properties and effieciency.

It all depends on how close they are together, what time of year etc.

same neighborhood?
25 would be a cake walk.
say mid summer growth. with a 32" and a 36" , props between 1/4 and a half acre, we have done 35+ and thats with a real lunch break. 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. (but hustling, little trimming, and with me there to ensure no messing around)
now if like most LCO's around here you start at 7:00 and go till 6:30 or 7:00 PM... with the larger mower, 3 employees, as long as bed work was minimal... i think 35 is very realistic.
of course spring growth can be as little as 20...
