View Full Version : Exmark roller on a Dixie Chopper?

Im just wondering if anyone has ever put an exmark roller on a DC. Ive got a 60" DC and i have been looking at the exmark rollers for a while, it seems like it would be pretty simple to just fabricate a mount onto the deck to fit

I'm sure you could make it work. I was told the other day from a former chopper owner that the new roller on the exmark will lay some serious stripes.

And you have a problem striping that Bluegrass up there?

No i dont have a problem striping it just looking for a more deffined stripe

Big league lawns has a very nice roller, although you dont get the full length rear anti scalp roller

I was looking at the Big League Lawn's striping kit and it looks to me like it might be alot lighter in construction from the eXmark roller. The price difference isn't that much and personally I like the heavier construction of the eXmark one. It looks like the BLL one, the brackets look tinny and would get in the way. Just my oppinion.
