7 Iron II decks interchangeable?

Just wondering if 7 iron II decks are interchangeable on Deere Zero Turns? I assume that say a 54" deck from a Z700 series will go on any Z700 series mower? And a 54" deck from a Z900 series will fit any Z900 series mower?

But will a 54" 7 iron II deck from a Z700 series go on a Z900 series mower? I don't own a Deere Z yet, so I can't say for sure, but looking at specs all of the Deere zero turns are the same length, except for the diesel. Just figured they used the same frame and that decks would align the same.

If anyone can clarify this for me, that would be great!

Are you asking about the old Z700 series, or the newer ZTrak's? I owned a Z720 a couple years ago, and own a Z950 now. I am not certain that everything (pulley sizes etc) is the same, but the mounting points are.

As far as I know, neither of them will accept decks from the older 700 series Z's.
