Many of you do direct mail and I've done it the last few years with nice success.

Fast forward to 2013. My mailers got delivered about 6-7 days ago. I've only had 3 calls so far. No online quote request. According to google aynalics my hits have been slow.

Maybe it was timing. The week before they went out we had temps in the 60s. Since arrival the weather has been in the 30s and chance of snow/ice today.

Maybe bad timing? Henbit and Poa are out in full force. I even added some new services. Just a little worried. Thought I'd make a big jump this year. I sent 4500 cards targeted to property values. It's what I do every year.

What is everyone else seeing. Early for you northern guys.

My stuff was suppose to go out this week, but held off because of the weather, its been really cold. But my pennysaver ad came out on Wednesday and just booked a new customer today. Im gonna see how the weather is looking at the end of next week for the mailers

Haven't done my mailers yet, going to wait another couple weeks until the sun comes out a bit more and people get in "spring"mode.

I'm so far behind I'm still looking for a list and still debating on going with the service that usps offers.

I'd say the timing. Do you usually send out in January? How much are you paying per mailer?

By studying Google analytics I'd say best time is from Feb.15 thru July. Maybe even Mar-July.

I have been doing door hangers with great success down in south florida for about 2 months now. Then again grass is always growing down here. I won't do mailers until end of Feb along with a few google campaigns.

I normally send out the end of janurary. Try to start round 1 mid February. Usually have good success at this and send out about 4500-5000 cards.

Timing may be off. Weather was really cold and now we have a nice layer of sleet and freezing rain.
