New kubota 4999, new bad boy elite series $4499, new grasshopper 126 is awesome, but mid to upper 5's on it but 4 year warranty makes up for it.

It looks like it's only got the 10cc ones, it looks like it's more of a homeowner unit to me JMHO.

Magnum has ezts but they are improved this year, the zt elite and kubota have 3100's. The commercial elite czt has 3400's they run closer to $5699 for a 48" or a hair more for 54"

Grasshopper 126 has a parker pump and wheel motor seperate, but in a single unit, very smooth and responsive too.

For that puny deck size I'd get a walk behind with all the bells and whistles brand new and all the right specifications, 5 thousand done and save myself the frustration of how hard and long I'd have to look to find any Ztr even remotely worth the while, not to mention with Wb's you don't get monkey butt.

A wb is far more versatile, you can take greater chances with it and is far more universal in how many types of yards it can mow (as in, pretty much anything), not so with a Z.

The secrets they don't tell you...

It's not just the pump size, you need a welded or stamped deck as well (read: 7 gauge steel).
And an engine with a minimum 25 horses, preferrably Kawasaki, Honda, or Kohler.
A suspension seat is almost a must, you might not think so but I'd prefer if the wheels had suspension too.

Now, if you ever do get in the mood for a Z in later years, I'd recommend a minimum 60" deck.
Oh, and you'll need 10 grand, by the time you get the specifications right there's just no getting around it.

Every time a mower comes along brand new with a really good price tag?
A solid (non-suspension) seat.
Inferior hydraulic pumps.
Fabricated decks (read: 10 gauge steel).
Low horsepower engines and generic brand materials.

Every time.
There is a reason for cheap.

I get enough exercise stringtrimming all day, Im not going to walk behind a mower too. I'm not even gonna ride a stander. You can keep all the walking mowers for yourself . I'm in preservation mode called getting old.
