What would you do?

This is the problem that I have encountered myself with. I want to purchase a new mower this month, a Scag Turf Tiger with the 27Kawasaki. I have been pricing around for a while.
MY PROBLEM
I have located a new 2002 mower for the price of $7799
Then I have located a new 2003 mower for the price of $8399

The ONLY difference between these mowers is that the 2003Scag has a larger hydrolic pump. Actually up till now, and including the 2002 scag, the pumps were 10 cc but the 2003 has 16 cc pumps.


Do you think that is worth spending the extra $600 for? You know as well as I do... $600 can go a long way.

sounds like you answered your own Q. If that is the ONLY diff. I would probably go with the 2002. Maybe try to wheel and deal for a lower price. Since it's a leftover.

9200 is what a 27 l/c kaw cost here.I would buy the 2003.Scag wouldn't put larger pumps on em if they didn't need em!-- 2003 turf tiger 27l/c kaw 8399,that almost sounds to good to be true,thats a good deal!!;)
