Someone is selling a 36" exmark metro with sulky and bagger with 25hrs on it for $1500 obo. Should I consider this or just buy a new one? Any help would be appreciated.

Take it and run never look back. You are getting the best deal i've seen so far. Get it b4 someone else gets it.

Not bad. Mower is $2000-$2300 depending on your location. Sulky could be anywhere from $150-$300. Bagger is around $200 if I remember correctly. Plus tax on everything. 25 hours is nothing. Heck, in that time regardless of what the person did with the mower it would be almost impossible to damage it. I would take the deal.

Thats a good deal, its even better if its the metro hp with the floating deck. The metro is $2,400 new with no sulky and the metro hp is $3,100 new.

I didnt buy the mower. I found out that it would have been 4 years old this year. He didnt put oil in the old engine and burned it up so he put a new 15hp kolhler on it. It only has 25hrs on the engine. For my first mower, I just wanted the piece of mind that came with a newer mower. By the way I purchased a 36 proline with floating deck 15 kohler and bag kit for 2500. He still hasnt sold it if anyone wants his number

sounds like a good deal to me, its double or more to buy it new.
