It seems to me that most of the users of this site are in the east and upper midwest. I feel a little alone out northwest here .
I'm guessing 50% of you are in the east , 25% in the upper midwest and and the rest scattered .

Scag,

I think it's kinda like a mini expo. Not really sure though. Saw something about it on a calender of upcoming events in a trade magazine. It was either Turf, or Lawn and Landscape. Don't remember any details, going to have to dig out the mags and look. :)

Bellingham Washington. IF you look at a map of the US, I am in the farthest left side, and right next to the ocean and Canada. Yall could say i live in my own little corner of the woods.

Jason, what green industry thingie? Im only 1.5 hours from Seattle, so i may even be able to make it down this time. I know i am sorry i didnt get to Expo. I felt like the odd step child out for awhile here on the forum. If you, or anyone else for that matter, happens to find dates and times then i would be majorly interested.

Have a good one yall.

Twotoros, Acute, Scag, or anybody else interested:

I did some digging and found the info for the expo thing in Seattle. Here it is as published:

October 6-7 Emerald Expo, Green Industry Trade Show & Seminars. Stadium Exhibition Center, Seattle, Wash. Call Julie Ellenhorn or Susan Solomon at 1-877-GREEN55 or 425-644-5957.

It was listed in the June 2000 issue of Turf(western region). I haven't called yet, but plan to soon. I'm definetely attending. Anybody else? Maybe we can get together if so. :)

Jason2:

Wow! Great job on the research. It is greatly appreciated. I know i WILL for SURE be there. I will call either tomorrow or next week. I might even be able to get some of my employees up there with me too. Smarter employees makes for smarter work.

I'll make a thread when it comes close to time to set up a place at the show for everyone to meet and maybe get a beer or pop (or shirly temple for the little green guy {JOKE}) It should be fun. It would be nice to put some faces and mugs to these opinions.

Thanks again Jason2. I printed it out and am roarin to go.

Dam i love my job!
