Getting busy!

Dang, we are picking up lawn care accounts right and left! I have signed up 6 in the last week or week and a half. This is great!

That's great Jim, It is starting to pick up alot around here the grass has a green tint to it now and starting to get phone calls for bids.payup

Only 2 here but maybe that's because we have about 3 feet of snow out there, lot's of new plowing accounts tought, maybe future customers.

What I'd really like to get is more landscape jobs right know that accounts for 30% of my business but maybe 50% of my income.

Picked up 1 Lowes full service. and 3 Drugs Stores when they get the finished also full service. I have 8 of the durg stores now.

Our phone is DEAD...only a few calls since January regarding sprinkler systems...thats about it. We are buried in snow & COLD!

I've been fielding calls and doing estimates all year so far. I've closed about 85% so far and they are on the books for March. Looks like 2003 is going to start even better than 2002 did...and 2002 was the best ever.

We are right with you. We have gained 6 new ones and just bid on number 7 an hour ago. Hopefully she will call back so we can add her as well. The door hangers are working great.

One phone call this year coming in this week asking for an estimate on an aeration. Jodi fielded the call, and we're gathering she's going to be nothing but a kicker. She told Jodi she held onto our advertisement for four years, and pretty much told Jodi her whole life story.

If we get 100 calls per season, we turn 50 of them down over the phone. Give 50 estimates, close roughly 20 to 25 of them.
Last year we received more calls than 100, but this is just an example. Not out to close every deal.
