Has anyone ever heard of the Eagle Star walk behind mower?
It is red but don't know who makes it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Haven,t got the mower yet. Just looked at it. It is belt driven.
My ex-boss has it and wanting to sell it. App. 3 years old. He bought it for his son to mower with while in college. Guess what? That didn't last long. It hasn't been used much.

Ican't post a picture.

A friend has one, a 48" belt drive. It was his first mower he has far outgrown it now. I knew of one for sale not too far from here, a 36" belt drive for $500, not too old not a lot of hours on it, it had I beleive a 14hp Kawasaki. Have never seen pics of real things but I will bet they are built alot like other w/b's ;)
I assume they look like a Landscaper's Supply brand not sure.

My first Mower was an Eagle Star 36". It was several years old and I use it for 2 years. It was a good mower and I had no major problems with it. I question the age because I think they have quit making Eagle Star mowers 5 years ago and maybe even longer.

I also wanted to add that I think it was made in Beatrice, NE. in the same factory where they make Exmarks. It even looks like an older Exmark.

Ever seen the older eXmark that looks just like an old Walker?

That's the Explorer, IBGreen. In the 2002 eXmark brochure they have some black and white pics of it I think.

Willbro: Your post is rather old, but I don't see where your question was actually answered. I started out with a used Eagle Star 48' Was a simple, basic no frills commercial mower. Mine had a Kawa FC460 (12.5 hp). Never gave me any trouble. Was made by Kees in Beatrice, NB. Company merged with Yazoo a few years ago and moved South. But, Kees has been in the business for many years, and make solid equipment.

Brand new I grabbed one for $1,600. One of the best investments I ever made. O ya they are made by Keys manufacturing. I think that was back in 1996 however.

Thinking they had a great start up business and hoping they got in and out with what they wanted.
