Digital Tachometers/Hourmeters

When my EPS shows up in a week or two, I'd like to put a digital tachometer/hour meter on it. Are the hour meters you put on there panel mount or surface mount, and I assume they're rectangular, correct? Any information you ahev is much appreciated.

The hour meter we use is rectangular and mounts in a panel cut out on the front console.

There are several digital models available from aftermarket suppliers that can be added without interfering with the factory hour meter.
