Ornamental Tree Question.

I'm looking for opinions on Flowering Trees (or bushes) for zone 7..similar to crape myrtle.;
Full Sun, reasonably drought tolerent, 10-15' Tall; good colorful Blooms..;)

Japanese Privet, Tea Olive, possibly Southern Wax Myrtle, Star Magnolia are a few different choices that works well in zone 7 and full sun.
