Striping Question?

Good morning everyone, my question is this. Will striping a yard with a ztr, or w/b work on any type of grass such as bermuda, st. augustine, or buffalo or just some other types?

In my experience, it works well on all Fescues and Ryes, but hardly at all on Bermuda unless there is a Fescue mix. In full Bermuda striping is hard to find. I have found it works rather well on St Augustine.
