Anyone have any idea why these nettings are use on new lawns? A new development around here is useing them and they are not Dissolving or eroding after 1 year. It is time for aeration and cant do it with a net on the ground. Thanks Kevin

I'm ***uming the netting is used on a hill or slope. The thing will eventually biodegrade. The question is - how well is the lawn established? If you can see the netting then I am ***uming that its thin. Mayby you can sell overseeding to the customer?

A lot of the sod farms use this to help hold it together so they can use less soil when they cut it, and to help with handling. I,ve got one stop that is 7 yr,s old and i'm still pullin the stuff up.

Could aeration or slit seeding be done on this lawn?

if you slit seed a lawn with the netting bring a blow torch to remove the net from your reel. this stuff is a major pain in the neck. aeration should not be a porblem but.....
