Here is the Flex-Deck on the Hustler 48 suspended deck - On mowers like the Hustler and Dixie Chopper and others that have the deck skirt follow the blade (round) on the trimming side, there is no cutting of the deck.

On this Hustler - (The first Hustler we have worked with) all we did is:
1. Add an additional spindle tube to allow clearance for the left Main Deck Castor wheel - This also creates a bit of right drag to counteract the bit of left drag created by the Flex-Deck.
2. Double pulley the left spindle of the Main deck - This is normal for any Flex-Deck installation
3. We cut the Flex-Deck Bracket to fit the Hustler deck (One curve cut on the top of the bracket

This is a No Brainer installation:

Mowerconsultant - I don't have a clue yet - will be getting his name and address later - It was sold by one of the people that have been running the flex-deck for 4 years on JD's, and he brought the mower (The JD guy) down. All I know is that the Hustler owner is from Tennessee.

This was the easiest install I have ever encountered - Since it was the first, and I had to run to a local factory a couple of times to get lathe work done for the bear press into the extra spindle, and had to custom make all the braces etc for the extra spindle, it still only took 5 hrs.

If I had another 48 just like it come in, I could have the whole thing done in 1 hr - 1 1/2 Max.

Thanks, Brad
