We would like to introduce a great new opportunity for the LawnSite Community - A Monthly Give Away. Each month one of the sponsors or participating companies at the site will provide something of their choice for the community.

In order to be eligible for the contest, you must respond to a specific thread started by the administrators at the site. By responding to the thread, a ticket with your name will go into "a hat". There will be only one response per member and there will be one winner each month. We also ask that no other comments be made about another member's response. ONE POST PER MEMBER.

WE CHAPPS, a long time sponsor of the site, will be donating this month's LawnSite Give Away. WE CHAPPS designs and manufactures quality commercial landscaper and equipment accessories. They offer the Green Industry various products to answer many of the problems professionals in this industry face. Product Lines include: Mesh Debris Bags, String Trimmer Chapps, Equipment Covers, Chemical Spray wear, UL Chainsaw Gear, Hedge Trimmer Chapps, Neck/Ear Sun Protection, OEM Brand Name Mesh Bags and Equipment Covers, Custom Print Mesh Mower Bags, Company T-shirts and much more.

For this month's LS Give Away, W.E. Chapps is offering your choice of two packages. Their newest product: The Grass Handler - a true OCDC-like mulcher that attaches on most Walk-Behind, Zero Turn, Riding and Stand-On Mowers. It has a special LawnSite retail price of $299.95. Or your choice of any of the other products they offer totaling $299.95. See photos and read more about The Grass Handler mulcher at www.wechapps.com/home/Misc_Chapps/G...dler___bag.html or visit www.wechapps.com . to see all of the other professional products that they offer.

Remember, in order to have a chance to win, you must respond to the Give Away Thread started by the administration. Also, you can only enter once, no exceptions. If you have any questions, please email sean@lawnsite.com.

The following is the question you must answer in order to be elligible to win:

If you were given $50,000 cash that you did not have to pay back and you had one week to spend this money on your business only, how would you spend the money?

Please remember, one post per member, and do not comment on how others answer this question!

Posted by Sponsor W.E. Chapps one week after the start of the contest:

One week has gone by since the beginning of the 1st Lawn Site Give Away and the participation has been tremendous to date. W.E. want to Thank all of you that have taken part in the Give Away and to encourage all who haven't to enter and show the Manufacturers in the Green Industry what a powerful force and the unique unity that the LS community has.

The responses have been Great! Real serious answers have been given about the choices and the directions that you want to take your companies and ultimately the future of you, your family, and your employees. W.E. salute your determination, sharing of information and humor.

The grass is just now beginning to grow. W.E. wish each and every one of you a Safe and Successful Season. This is our 15th year of designing and manufacturing Landscaper and Equipment Accessories. W.E. make products that are designed specifically for daily commercial use. Good luck in being the winner of The Grass Handler - the true slide plate mulcher - or your choice of $299.95 worth of our products.

You can call us toll free 800-816-2427 or email us anytime safety@wechapps.com with your questions, comments or suggestions. Our door is open to you. And always remember...W.E. can help you cut it!

Thanks,

hey guys, great idea! if i had $50000 it would go fast, i would definitly spend 18k on a new (used) truck, most likely a mid 90s stakebed with plow and sander. i would spend 3k on a trailer with high mesh sides and a expanded metal toolbox it would be a 16 footer. i would spend 4k on 2 walkbehinds a 36'' and a 48'' and about 6k for a ztr. next 1k would go for 2 trimmers and 2 bp blowers. the rest would go towards the rent or purchase for a 2 bay 2 deep shop.

New truck, new trailer and a new mower. Maybe some hand held stuff if I had extra. By the way I wouldn't need a week I could do it in a day.

50,000.00? I would use it to expand my currant business into more areas of service. Instead of adding on later, do it now if I had the money. A one-stop shopping center is better than going to seperate places.Besides, It gives me a bigger market.:D
